It is particularly appreciated the variety of stones with the effect of "cat's eye". The name of this precious stone is made up of two names: chrysolite and beryl. Initially, the variety of beryl and chrysolite was in the topaz stone. The color varies from pale yellow to brown. This change is explained by a mixture of a chemical element.

For example, pale yellow-green has its color due to the presence of iron in its structure. Chrysoberyl is rarely used in the manufacture of jewellery, although a stone is very strong and suitable for this type of work. Despite this, the first chrysoberyl was very popular, precisely because it gave the effect of "cat's eye".
